A little Thursday update from the farm with the Sun beaming down its hat and shirt weather. Very very nice to be a farmer after the cold of winter makes me feel very lucky to be alive and healthy. Some pics here of Rhubarb, starting to grow again so maybe another month or so away, sugar snap peas, so cute and in 6 weeks they'll be super crunchy and sweet mmm spring salads and Asian stir fry and some very exiting - eatin' now kind of exiting, broad bean tops oh yeah:0 Whats that you say... broad beans tops?? Well yes the tops are tender tasty and delicious!! Sauteed and used like a yummy garden green with a super light broad bean flavour .
I will be bringing them to Hawthorn farmers market this Saturday and Carl will have them at the side stall. Side stall action is on again tomorrow with all the great goodies we've been bringing you. Local extra virgin olive oil local Swiss brown mushroom purple broccoli so get on down.
Back to planting and tending for me. See you at Hawthorn:)
